YOU can make a difference
A good haircut can have a huge impact on a child’s self-image and give a much needed boost of confidence. The high cost of school readiness often leaves mom and dad feeling too much financial crunch to also afford a much needed haircut.
This part of the festival is by far one of the most exciting because you get to see kids experience a physical transformation which exhilarates them and immediately boosts their confidence! For some children, this may be their first professional haircut.
We are seeking stylists to donate free haircuts at the Festival.
Will you consider joining us for a day to celebrate getting ready for a new school year?
All we Need is You
THAT’S RIGHT! We provide everything you need to give local children a fresh new look. All you have to do is show up and work your magic!
Volunteer all day or in a half-day time slots.
Gift Certificates
We are accepting gift cards to be given to children who have to leave before getting a haircut or to children who where unable to come to the festival. We would give the cards to the social workers to distribute as needed.
